I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Gentlemen, have VIPs going up to Lake Charlevoix for fun fishing and I'd like learn where all the rockiest points, spawn flats are on the lake. They have about 5 hours to fish so I'd like to narrow it down. Any help or input from the 'crew' would be appreciated.

So far recommended tubes and jerk baits.

I am seeing Hemingway Point, Ironton and Holy Island as well as East Jordan Bay for the South Arm. What about the main lake ? Is it Young State Park and Boyne City Bay ? Please advise . Please and thank you.

Hey now lets not turn Charlevoix into St. Clair, find your own stuff to fish, lol!

Mojo

Full Moon is right now. Fish should be close to bedding.

I'm going to be up there tomorrow and Thursday. I expect to catch some prespawn and some bedding bass. I'm not fishing any tournament but I imagine I will see some boats running around and I may not be able to stick a lot of bass but I want to catch as many as I can because that is fun! It's not like there's a shortage of bass on Lake Charlevoix!

What day are your friends going to be up there?

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I just fished Charlevoix this last weekend. Weighed 15.4lbs for 5th place. Over 20 won it.

South arm had smaller fish on beds, water temp was mid 60s. Most of the big girls had left.

I'm guessing that this weekend will start to see the main lake turn on. The water temps were upper 50s to mid 50s on the west side. I think I would concentrate on the main lake flats and see what you get into. If it's not happening there, the south arm will be warmer and you can always find some fish. If you need a spot that usually produces, I can send you a waypoint for both the arm and main lake.

I caught all my fish using tubes either on beds or flats with the fish moving up. Used strike king coffee tubes.
