I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Okay, since we don't have any Michiganders in this last Elite event, who are you picking to win it? Also, what about the schedule for next year? I like to Marshal two events a year. I am going to sign up for Guntersville and maybe Havasu. Don't know if my old back can take three days worth of rides to Erie if I sign up for St. Clair, but who knows, maybe I'll decide to save money and sign up for that one, but I'd really like to go to Havasu. Oh, my pick for the overall winner isn't a way out on a limb pick by any means. I'm going with Paliniuk.

I'm picking Martens to win it. He can always find them, now if he can just catch them. I wanted to go up there and watch them launch and weigh in, and fish in between, but that's not in the cards. You should spend a little extra and go to the delta, watch them whack some giants and hope to end up in the boat with someone that knows that area really well. Or Florida early on. Good luck Dan! By the way, I sent you an email and haven't heard back yet? New email or ignoring me?

Will is be a crank bite, jerk baits, DS or dragging tubes
Beautiful country up there, I deer hunt 30 min's away
I like to eat at the Big Boys in Escanaba for breakfest before opening day

Not that I'm familiar with the area, but what parts do you hunt maxn? I have family all around there and sometimes hunt Bark River area.

What is the scuttle butt concerning wolves up there. Have talked with guys that hunt the UP and they say that the wolves are making such a come back that they are taking their toll on the deer population. My neighbor had a after hunt in the dark encounter with a pack that caused him to quit going to the UP.

Wolfe's coyotes and now the darn cougar
There all up there.  And I'm sure that they do eat deer
If there's a hard winter the UP can lose ½ of the deer herd. It's just a hard place to be a deer
Some would like to blame it on something other than the weather
