Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Anyone have any updates on how fishing has been up on Hubbard? Anyone gone lately? Please let me know, heading up mid week for the long weekend for some fun.

Coop,
My buddies and I were there 2 yrs ago in mid Sept. Finally found fish after two days on the North end of the lake near the boat launch. There is a huge weed bed that was just loaded with fish filling their bellies with minnows. We had a tough time getting them to bite but when we did they were decent fish.
As you are aware Major League fishing was there last Aug about this same time frame you are going. KVD put on a clinic as to the weights and number of fish he caught. If I remember correctly he started off with a square bill crankbait but did not feel the fish were taking it like he wanted. He ended up going to a spinnerbait and when he did they started to choke the bait down. Many of the other guys were using dropshots and not doing as well. A-Mart even commented that he knew KVD was using a spinnerbait but he could not switch because he had planned on dropshotting and did not have the gear to switch.
Just keep switching until you find what they want and Good Luck. Wish I could join you as I want another shot at that lake after seeing what the Pro's did there last yr.

It was a jerkbait that kvd tore em up on at Hubbard. Squarebill in the end on Long and spinnerbait on Grand.

I have MLF recorded from Alpena. I'm gonna have to take another look at it before leaving on Thursday. I know they like to show where each individual fisherman is at on the lakemaster sponsored map they show on the tv show. Not sure if it's actually legit though to divulge where they actually are to the public, but any sort, I'm gonna start out where they seem to be and go from there. If the bite gets hard, there is always live bait!  ;D ;D ;D :P
