I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

The great GLB community with your Bass knowledge on crank baits, spinnerbaits..... Chime in ! Need your expertise here !
Thanks Dan for bringing year round Catch and Release to Michigan

YpsiBass

I'd buy two Powell Inferno rods, one casting, one spinning.  Have a spinning reel to match up with the rod already and then I'd get a new Shimano Curado for the casting rod.

Or pay bills.  Owning a boat has cost me more than I thought it would.

Well if your thinking about it
Bass Tackle depot always has a Hoilday sale and GLB get's credit if you use the link

The Dobyns and the Lews Super duty in 5:4 comes to 429 today (free shipping and no tax)
Take 15% off it's 364.65
It's a no brainer, The Dobyns is a great rod and you my friend need a good Warr
And they have one

FYI
Mem day sale was 25%
4th of July was 20%
So the sale coming up could be as good as 25%, But shouldn't be less then the 15%
And they sell Powell as well,
Funny thing about the Powell rods, Gary Dobyns worked for Powell and designed there crank rods

YpsiBass

Dobyn's rods look nice, but I haven't seen one in person so it keeps me from trying one out.  Their handle styles are similar and I like that, but so far this Diesel I've been using all summer has been outstanding.

Rick,
I think thay call that the JDM (jap domestic market) look with no fore grip
I have allot of Kistlers and they look like that as well.

I looked at the Powell Max series along with the Dobyns the difference was about 50 bucks
Thought the Dobyns had a better warr. and I liked that they were a smaller mom & pop shop

The one thing I've noticed about the Dobyns is
They are a very, very well balanced rod. and you can get a full cork grip (I like that on a crank rod)
