Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

was at my brother's lake in edwardsburg today and was trying all  kinds of colors and nothing was working, saw a pack of Mann's ditto worms in solid black, no pumpkin or watermelon or flake anything, just black.

the water was clear and i rigged them t-rigged and made long cast and caught 2 nice keepers in 10 minutes, funny how the color most of us started out with is so quickly forgotten.

these are the worms with the "sickle" tails on them, any old timers remember these? :)

I think it's funny how when fishermen find something that works, after awhile, they quit using it and move on to the "new" thing.

We just don't seem to believe that if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Glad you found your way back.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

I think it's funny how some think that fish caught on one color wouldn't have eaten a different color.  ;D

Since the bass eat anything that looks alive in any color of the spectrum.  :P

Black is a great color in any bait thrown.... Holds it's identity in all water colors and light conditions.  ;D

I like the old time baits.  I always have some kind of old bait that is not made anymore somewhere in my tackle box.  Yes, we as fisherman always go after the new stuff however the old stuff still works.  There have been times when the bite was slow and then I tied on a bait that is not made anymore and all of a sudden I'm wacking fish like no tomorrow.  Always keep something old in the box for confidence.  Confidence is a key element to catching fish when they are not biting............at least for me.
