Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I'm always thinking outside of the box... Bass like to eat bluegill head first because of their fins. I'm trying to help them out.  ;D  I'm wondering if I should put smaller trebles on or maybe even one circle hook on each side. These are #5 trebles. Sorry for the crappy pics... They really do look amazing flipping around in the water with the rattles sounding loud as well...

What are some of your thoughts?  Have you ever seen anything similar?

I like fast boats and fishing.. I can do both the same day.

I like your thinking! It also looks like it would snag everything. I wonder if putting a bill in the backside or belly of this would work for action and deflection?

21XDC

It wont snag any more than anything else... Especially where I'll be fishing it.

Are you sure you are getting enough oxygen going so fast in that boat. ;D

How would you fish it.  Popper style, Crank bait style.

Guess if you try it and it works you will be rich.   First time my brother brought over some Senko's i laughed at him.  3 hours of fishing on my lake I was hooked.

21XDC

It's going to be a twitch/twitch/twitch...............Rip.............. repeat. It looks amazing in the water. I hope to try it on st clair this weekend and maybe a fri night tournament... I'm glad you have open eyes and mind Steve...  :)

If I miss a bite, I think I can just sit there and shake the bait and something will happen...  ;D Remember line tie location,  I will be making the tail dance and quiver... The line is out of the water as well... I'm still debating on hook choices. I may use the double hooks, smaller trebles, or single octopus hooks...

I have a short work day today and hope to fish these and make some decisions... I did put on #6 and #8 red trebles to experiment. I think the smaller #8's are a better fit.

Everyone laughed at my 1/2 senko until they try it.

Fished Wolvarine lake NBAA this morning.  Lots of gill's making beds and getting chased by small males guarding fry.   Caught 3 keepers on a topwater Devil Horse.  Might be the time to break that thing out.   Be waiting for report.

I fished Orchard Lk from 11:30 til 5pm... My 5th cast I caught a smallmouth, My 10th cast I caught a largemouth..  ;D I ended up catching 3 on it and lost one. Being bright sunny skies, we fished other baits mostly. Caught 25-30 easily, But all were under 2lbs, many under 1lb.  ::)

The smaller hooks are too light and the bait don't nose down like it should.... So bigger hooks is a must unless I add some more weight to the nose.
