This is a great event.  I participated last year and had one of the best times I ever have had fishing.  The veteran I took out was a great guy with some amazing stories about his experience in Iraq.
Unforntuately, I have a family wedding on the 7th this year and will be unable to participate.  I am so bummed about it too.  Please try and attend this event if you are available.  You won't regret it.
If you are unable to attend this event, but would still like to take a veteran fishing, please remember that I am collecting names and contact information for Camp Liberty and Operation Freedom Outdoors.  My hope is to compile a state wide list of anglers who would be willing to take a veteran out fishing at a convenient time for them throughout the year.  Let me know if you are interested in being added to the list and please support the event on June 7th at Kent Lake.
