Who's going to D&R for their Spring Fling? Zona, KVD, JVD, Ish, Palaniuk, and Swindle are going to be there giving seminars. I am going on the 18th which I believe is Good Friday. Here is a link to seminar info  http://www.dandrsports.com/Weekend_Events.html#.U0abl9x-_nY

I live there that week end, get there as the doors open and leave at 5 or so both days

I've never been there before. How far from detroit area is it? Also, how big is the place. The way it sounds it must be pretty big. I always thought it was just a smaller tackle store.

It has everything you need. Good sized shop and they carry "The" stuff you need and probably more. Couple hours from Dtroit. I would bet if you came for the day you would not be disappointed. I only wish Paliniuk was going to be there on Friday. Can't make it Saturday.

from down town to down town it is about two hours, just get on 94 west to 131 north get off at the Westmain exit and head west again. It is not a Bass Pro in size but it is not just a tackle shop it is more like a cross between. They have people travel 100's of mile each year to be there. So it is worth the drive!

Alec has a soccer game in Kalamazoo on Saturday the 19th so I'm definitely planning on stopping by. Haven't been to the spring fling in quite a few years.

Have been in the past and wish I was around but still snowmobiling as we are getting more snow  ...I remember one year they had a Cajun food stand that was off the hook.
Did you say "Randy's Little Brother" was going to be around....Had to say it sorry.

Big place. Tons of Great bass tackle. The VanDams are fairly knowledgeable about bass fishing stuff... ice fishing stuff. Walleye fishing. Hunting. Electronics. Boating. Some other stuff.

Heading to Kzoo this morning for a 2:30pm soccer game at the Soccer Complex not too far away from D and R.  Still planning on stopping.  Look for the 13 year old soccer players and you'll more than likely find me not to far away.  As I said previously, it's been quite a few years since I've been to the Spring Fling.  Looking forward to it.

Can't be there today. We had to leave before Swindle got there and we miss out on Palaniuk today. I would like to see him do a seminar. Maybe next time.
