I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Is it just my puter or is it moving very slow tonight? It takes forever to scroll thru the forum and along time to get anything up. I don't seem to have any problems any where else.

Must have been a short term local thing (I hope). Mine is moving fast tonight.

My host has to do cleanup on the database server every so often to speed things up. Maybe there was an issue that got fixed since last night?

Sometimes it is a really short term issue that you can improve just by closing your browser and opening again with a refresh... sometimes...

Must be my puter as I am at work and it is still scrolling very slow and jerky. Try to scroll up or down and it won't move for up to 30 seconds then it jerks. Oh well got my new puter at home and internet hooks up tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about the sloooowwww. I'll check around and see if anyone else is having an issue. It seems to be fine on either of my two different connections.

Dan the problem must be my puter at work as I now have my new puter at home with my cable hookup and it is flying now.

Stack, empty your temp files on your computer (disk clean up), and defrag. Mine slows down from time to time as well, this fixes the problem for me.

I expect anyone with such a be-oooo-tiful avatar to be a real smart person. Thanks for passing along the great advice Maize!

I can't do any thing on this puter as it is at work and everything goes thru main plant. All I have is a little black box and am locked out of all the good stuff.

Probably had to do some server maintenance. Seems to be okay now. I was across state at a meeting so I missed the 'fun.'

Let me know if you don't see an improvement.

Seems ok today.  Must have been a "glitch in the matrix."

I probably need to have a talk with them about their SQL server maintenance. Seems like by the time I get to them, they've already heard from a bunch of people and are doing things - the day job getting in the way again!

Glad you're back to normal ;D
