Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Dan...I like the clean new look of the forum.  My only question is about the light blue font color on the creamy yellow background.  Maybe I've been staring at monitors too long, but it puts a big strain on my eyes for some reason...is there any chance you can darken it up a bit?

jcheetam - which text are you referring to? I show the main message text as black.

Are you talking the links? Are there specific ones that are causing the eye strain (believe me, I know about eye strain... and eye twitches)

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Duh...I should have been a little more clear...The title text mostly, and to some extent, the links in the light/medium blue (e.g. the New Forum Font Color title above and the affiliate links below).

Refresh and tell me what you think. I'd like to go no farther if possible :)

I don't know...I don't see much of a difference.  I think you could put simple black text on a white background at this point and it wouldn't make a difference, my eyes would still bother me (way too many years of staring at computer monitors)...Thanks for giving it the old college try Dan...

Did you do a <ctrl> refresh to force your browser to read the new css sheet? The font is a lot darker now.

It's much better!  When I said I didn't see much of a difference, I meant on the strain on my eyes (like changing your font would miraculously make my eyes feel better after staring at a monitor for 12 hours...).  Thanks again Dan!

Okay - I do aim to please... within my 'artistic' boundaries of course...;D

Have you begun to get the sudden uncontrolled eye-twitche/bulges yet? I love those... :o

No bulging or uncontrolled twitches at this point...I guess I have something to look forward to.
