Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

It's a Facebook post. Couldn't find it on You Tube. The last 30 seconds is where the collision occurs.  Brought back memories, of a similar run I made while on the Big O.

Saw that video and it scares me for sure. Fished down there a couple times and running those cuts can make you nervous.

I have never fished down there, but that video was eye opening.  I immediately thought of a couple place I fish where there is a blind corner coming out of a bay. I will be approaching those areas a little differently from now on.  Thanks for posting this, and thankfully no one got hurt .

We always followed the airboat rules when fishing on that lake . Flew a flag at least 10 foot over the deck well zip tied to the rear light stick

Here is a video I shot when I was down on the Big O.  We should have had a flag but... next time for sure.

Banging the sticks off the side of the boat eh Dan?  What a ride that must have been!
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

I just about stuck in the back of J&S on the east. hit so many sticks it tore the boat numbers of the hull. Not fun

Dan

Brody got stuck at the beginning of the run twice. They broke three ropes off trying to pull him off. He and a buddy had to work from both ends on that narrow run to open it up so they could get back to a section of the rim canal. Brody didn't want to go back in the third day and after trying for fish in the main lake and coming up empty he went back in and picked up a limit. If he wouldn't have made it out he would have finished 50th, which at that time because of how many Elite Series entrants there were, was $5,000 instead of $10,000. It was very important to him to get that 10K. He fished from tournament to tournament with his own money and said he didn't even have gas money to get home. He lives in Ohio. We took off the first time and bottomed out. I had to move up on the front deck and he backed way up and the second time he made it on plane. At any point, if we came off plain it would have been over. Way to shallow to start up again. You can see how excited he was to get out on the main lake. From there we had about a 45 minute run to get back.
