Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I'm heading out east on Saturday and Sunday and will be fishing St. Clair out of Harley Ensign on Saturday and the North Shore of Erie on Sunday.  If you've got a Canadian license and want to join up, feel free to shoot me a message.

PS - I promise not to set the boat on fire this weekend....  :-\'

let me know how you do on the Canadian north shore, up that way couple of weeks ago and it was barren water up around Colchester.

hope you did better on erie then we did on huron/st clair river...I had three bites, species unknown and my partner had one bite, unknown.  we only saw one walleye caught amongst 13 boats that were walleye fishing.  no rock bass, no perch, no nothing and especially NO SMALLMOUTH.  found minnows up the kazoo, found great structure, found no bass.

Thanks, Capt! Too bad you had a rough day on the water.  I won't be hitting Erie until Sunday. LSC tomorrow, bright and early in the morning.

Heck, I might add a third after my Manistee experience...  ;)

On a side note, any time you want a fishing partner on the lakes in your neck of the woods, let me know.  I'd love to learn the water up there. :)

@Hollada, thanks! We'll have to do it again sometime soon.

So glad you made a fishing connection. Great time of the year to be on the big lake!

I see Scott Dobson and Kyle Greene just won the CFB Classic with a 2-day total of 10 bass weighing 52 pounds! He won a tournament last Sunday with over 26 and said he whacked 27 pounds in practice. Many of the bass came from Lake St. Clair. So it looks like there are still some big bass out there after all :) and they are putting on the usual fall feed bag!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Oh, sure, Dan.  Rub it in...  :P  I envy the guys that get to fish St. Clair weekly or more.  All of that specific knowledge... All of those fishes... *sigh*

djkimmel

Just giving you something to shoot for. I used to envy them a lot more, particularly when I fished tournaments. But I would have been divorced if I lived too close to any good lakes. I like being halfway to every here in the desert of Michigan (as I call Lansing :) ).

PS: I'm going to make Scott take me fishing soon... ;D
