This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

So I am a very die hard bowhunter because it's a challenge well recently I have also started getting into bass fishing more than ever tonight for an hour and a half I stood in my yard and pitched to a frisbee I had laid down and then tried casting at distance. Man what a hoot nobody in my family are big into fishing or hunting everything I know about deer hunting was online and Im hoping to do the same with bass and learn as much as I do about deer about bass thanks for all your help everyone I know I post a lot of questions but your help is truly listened to and very much appreciated.

Kal-Kevin

Just remember in fishing we never stop learning I know guy that fished 40 years and they still learn new things.  ;)

I agree same goes for hunting but I try to obtain as much as I can as fast as I can so I can get a good foothold in knowledge

Many of the same principles of deer hunting can be applied to bass fishing too.
Travel corridors, seasonal patterns, daily patterns.  There's a lot of similarities.

I don't know where you live Wolfie but check out any clubs that might be in your area.

Here in south east MI I belong to the Down River Bass Association.  It's a club that's all about sharing information and learning about bass fishing.  Check us out on line.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
