Water temp 62' in both Fish and Finch. Never made it into Saddlebag. A few males fanning beds on the inside edge. Had 2 decent fish, 1 about 15"/1 about 20" and many of the lessor variety. Can't believe the weed growth already.
Look past what they want you to see.

I fished Waldron/Jones/Steinbarger/Tamarack chain east of Ligonier yesterday in a club tourney. I didn't think the bite was that good. I did manage 4 keepers that weighed 7.3 (4th place). My biggest though was only 2.4. Only one guy in our club had a limit and it weighed 10.1. I caught all of mine on wacky and my partner (had 2 keepers) also caught them on wacky. Didn't see any bedding fish, though I heard a lot of reports of seeing fish on beds. Water temp was 60 in the am and 68 when I left @ 3:00. Everywhere I've been the past 3 weeks have had some beds and some places have had  a bunch, though I've been fishing Indiana water.
