WELL if anyone visits this site much i am sure they have read my huge problem with the grand river lol

only weighing in 4 pounds at the tourney and just plain struggling bad lol

i will be back with vengince  next year lol

i fished tourneys in florida for the last 6 years and i am 25 years old so i have something to learn still forsure.we ended up around 20th overall in the shoreline tourny this year struggling bad at white lake and grand river, got a 11th place and a 13th and a 15th i do believe and then the horrable like 33rd and a mid 20's finish at white lake took us out of the running for the classic by about 10 points.

but we are off to fish the river tommorow and a few more times b4 the water cools and the get out of the summer pattern. at hamlin i started getting this michigan fishing down a little bit i caught probably 10 keepers myself and my smallest fish was 1.65  but the one tourny my dad(my partner) didnt catch atleast a 3lb fish couldnt get anything in the boat over a 1lb had to be hamlin lol. so i hope next year now that i have fished every lake on the tourny 3 times or better we can get in the classic.

i mean i got into the classic every year in florida with over 140 boats per tourny
trust me when i say fishing florida is wayyyyyyyyy different then fishing michigan lol i could take a seinko and a frog and only have 2 rods with those baits  and bring in a 20lb sack with ease!! i mean much ease.

there was days up here i couldnt fish my seinko cause of wind or days i couldnt fish my frog or i could fish it but not catch anything of any size

if anyone has any pointers on those 2 lakes now that the season is done and were not competing and we are fishing a nbaa or bbt next year forsure not fishing shoreline maybe there is someone who can help me out.

i am a younger man and i do plan on atleast making a run to try and qualify for some big tournys one day in the future i DO HAVE TO GET THIS NORTHERN FISHING FIGURED OUT!! I NEED TO GET MY CAROLINA RIG FISHING DOWN,ALONG WITH JIG FISHING AND CRANKBAITING!!
i am usually real confident in throwing a red eyed shad when my 2 weapons of choice dont work in florida  but only one lake up here i have got into some good fish with it?? i see KVD on tv throw that thing here in michigan and smoke em on it.

well anytips?
