I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Just announced! Kim Stricker will make a special appearance this Saturday March 27, 2010 at 1PM at Wonderland Marine West in Howell Michigan during their free food fishing extravaganza. He'll be talking about the underwater photography they do for the Hook n' Look TV show on Versus.

Of course, you never know exactly what he'll cover but you can bet it will be entertaining! Those of you fortunate enough to attend Kim's January tournament fishing retirement roast KNOW what I'm talking about!! KVD got him good but he maybe got KVD better!

I will also be showing video all day both days except during Kim's seminar from the awesome Amazon peacock bass fishing trip I was very fortunate to go on through Ron Speed Jrs Exotic Outdoor Adventures. See some of the action and the amazingly cool scenary and exotic creatures!!! You can wet your whistle a little by checking out stories and pictures on the Peacock Bass Fishing board or always check www.greatlakesbass.com/amazon.

Wonderland Marine West is located at 5796 E. Grand River Howell MI 48843. See the Wonderland Marine West 2010 Fishing Extravaganza with Tons of Vendors thread for more details and the show flier.

Love the show Hook n' Look! Kim and Danny are using very nice cameras that provide pictures that make me feel like I'm there with them. As a video and photo camera fan I'm really looking forward to hearing about their experiences this Saturday!

Me too.
I really wouldn't mind standing on the deck of Stricker's boat while Danny was down below talking me into fish either.
Talk about the ultimate imaging system .........
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Some of you who see Kim often have to ask him what happened to his Stricknye Shiners. I would love to get a few bags of them.

They are in conflict with his Stike king sponsorship. Bye Bye

Talked to Kim and Danny Saturday. Sponsors play a huge role in allowing them to put the show on TV. Strike King is the major sponsor, so I can understand his need to keep them happy. It really is amazing how much time and effort they put in that show. Kim said it takes 9 hours of editing per show and he does it all himself. This last season really improved in quality and it was because they took much of the work in-house.

It was cool to sit in the Wonderland break room, munching on dogs and being able to ask them questions after they did their home movies in the service garage. Wonderland really opens up there shop for the attendees. You get a lot of access to the facilities.
