Dates released for the new south division here: http://www.westmichiganbass.com/Home.mvc.aspx/Schedule.

We've merged with another smaller tournament who was drawing 15-20 boats last year to create a 2nd division for the folks on the low side of GR. Both divisions will compete for the same points leader and classic prizes.
Check it out and hope to see you there.

Had me kind of excited, being that I live on the south side, but I see most of them are more east than south. I was expecting more south like Gun, Big, Miner, etc. Oh well - maybe next time!

I'm a little confused.  If I fish Bass Lake on the norther schedule one week but choose not to make the trip up to say Brooks or one of the other lakes another week... can I fish the southern division lake instead?  In other words can I accumulate points from both divisions towards the classic/AOY?

Good question! That could certainly open up some more possibilities for some of us, but I can foresee some potential pitfalls too.

yeah. its just way too complicated to allow mixing of divisions and points - plus I hope that "encouraging" people through these rules to commit to a division will help keep consistent boat numbers throughout the season - which is good for everyone.
