Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Does this mean enough people bought you a beer for you not to remember all of them, because I bought you two and you never thanked me.  Does that entitle me to a seat in your boat on kent lake?

The NBAA one on one is at Pontiac the same day as you.  I think they had 20 boats last year.    Maybe we could start a side pot.

Frank

can i fish both the 1on1 and nemesis simultaneously on Pontiac lake?

Actually a One on One at $40 entry costs the same or more than a $100 team tournament depending on your distance from the lake.  If you fish with a partner in a $100 team event your entry fee is $50 vs. $40 for a single.  When you add fuel costs to the budget that $10 dollars extra makes up the cost difference when you go through 7 gallons of gas or more.  So unless you live within 15 miles from the launch site and never plan on running the big motor the team event is actually more budget freindly.  Some people don't include fuel into their budgets but I recommend trying it because it makes the overall experience of tournament fishing much more sustainable from an economic standpoint.

It's just a preference. I enjoy fishing these tournaments as an individual. It gives me more freedom to do things that I wouldn't want to impose on a teammate.

McCarter

so whats up, should i change the Pontiac to June 19th?

McCarter himself :-\'

Frank

I will fish it either way.  If they are on the same day would you mind setting the weigh in time about 1/2 hour different from the 1 on 1.  That way we could realistically weigh in fish at both spots.  I don't mind fishing alone in a partners tournament.  I usually do quite well and my partners don't seem to help out my total weight very often.
There would also have to be some way to check in for starting both events.

You should get in touch with Ron.

I would bet that both of the tournaments could be run at the same time from the same location.

seems this is about the only way it could work.    both start and stop times would have to be the same      you would be required to be at 2 pretournament meetings.  if the hours were staggerd you would be on the water when others are not.  plus you would be leaving your boat with your fish.   while the other event is going on.

this happened on stclair a few years ago and I remember it got ugly.

maybe Brian will change it to the 19 then we could fish both.

You really need to check with Jim or Jack.  I do not think that it would be allowed.  Unless you are fishing all by yourself, so that it would be for the 1 on 1.  But I really feel this is a very touchy topic now.  Need to get ahold of the higher ups on this one.  I always thought it was not legal to do that.
