I am here in Pittsburg at the National Guard Junior Championship with Cody Harris and Nick Marsh they are ready for there first day Tommorrow morning at 5:00am. Both are ready to fish. What a great job TBF,FLW and the National Guard does for these kids. This has been a great experience for them. Look for them on the FLW web site live tommorrow at 1 pm. I will try to post latter tommorrow on how they did. We will be cheering them on here.

Thanks for the update Brian. You and Dennis take good care of our TBF Jr champs... at least when TBF Inc and FLW Outdoors isn't treating them like champs!!!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Cody Harris is sitting in 5th after day one.  Wonder if the nemesis goby has come into play for him down there

5alive

Sorry no Nemesis products this time. Cody found a good minnow/mayfly pattern but unfortunately it did not hold up from practice though the tournament. Practice was pretty good and we caught a couple of limits, but the water came way up and the mayflies just didn't hatch the same as practice. He didn't execute very well they first day either jumping off multiple keeper fish. All in all 5th isn't bad.

both Cody and Nick Represented our youth from Michigan very professionally. They represented Michigan TBF like Pros's.
Nick Marsh Represented our younger age group 11-14 he did not make the cut the second day but was one of the highlights of the day. When he got on stage he told them he caught nothing but "dinks"  Hank Parker walk right into by ask Nick to explain what a "dink" was and with out a beat Nick Said "You Know what a dink is" and got a great laugh out of everyone.

Cody Harris Represented our older age group 15-18 He made it to the second day. Another one who can get on stage and be very Professional. Even if he did not do as good on the second day it did not even phase him. Still got on stage with a positive attitude and told them how the day went. He did end up with a $1000 scholarship and also the TBF "Kids" received $1000 in Product from Pure Fishing this will be used for the 2010 Junior State Championship.

As the TBF Youth Director I am very proud of both of them. Congration and see both of them next year at our Junior State Championship.
