Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Waterfoul

This is a benifit tournemant for Rich Hale's neice who recently had an allergic reaction to a medication which put her in intensive care at the burn unit of Spectrum Hospital with Stevens Johnsons Syndrome, which is a very painful rash that covers the body both inside and out. She will need special care for a very long time due to this, including skin treatements, special shoes, special foods, special meds, etc... Her father Tim is a friend of mine also and this is going to be a financial burden on him and his family.

We will be taking off from Brower Park on Hardy Pond.

Launch at 7:30 weigh in at 2:00
$40 per boat includes big bass.
Payout will be the same schedule as the Kellogsville Tournies. $30 to the pot, $10 to the family.
Standard rules apply.

There will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and will surely be a good time. Last years event was a lot of fun and there were some good bags weighed in. The fall smallie bite should be in full swing!!!

Hope to see many of you there.

You can direct any questions to me via PM here, or you can call Rich Hale at 616-481-3386

Bump to the top to make sure everyone noticed that I had the date wrong the first time.

It's the 20th of Sept... not the 14th.  Sorry for any confusion.

I'll be there, and hope to bring a couple other boats with me.  Too bad there's not more fall T's on Hardy, it can get pretty good.  I really just want to see how I can hang with Waterfoul and all his boys, sound like they got the place figured out.

HA!!  I WISH I had that place figured out.  Just when I think I've got some sort of pattern it all changes and I struggle to get 5 fish... or even 4 fish!!!

fasttrack

Not to get too caught up in the details, but I don't believe this is actually a Kelloggsville-sponsored event (unless something has changed I am not aware of). It just so happens that Rich runs the K'ville tourneys, but this is something he has done successfully in the past on his own and is trying it again with a new cause. Regardless, I hope to also be there. As having been a co-planner and co-director for K'ville on & off for the past 4 years, I know we are getting more and more concious of liability issues as the club has grown so much. That is the only reason I thought it was important to make a brief point that I think this is Rich's own event in case, heaven forbid, anything happend on the water that day. Anyways, have a great holiday weekend everyone!

P.S. I am still looking for a partner (either boater or non-boater) if anyone wants to talk....
