Fished Coffeen today and had a great trip.  I took out a guy that has never fished for bass today and he caught 'em.  The fish today were shallow in the wood and off points.  I caught about 15 off a blue and black Vertical JigX.  The fish were not giants but were very fun.  Out of 15, seven were over 15 inches.  The guy I took out caught all of his on a shallow square bill Strike King crank in Tennessee Shad.  If you live close to Coffeen it is a place that you can catch good numbers of fish and have a blast.  This was my first trip out there during the week and boy was it nice.  The parking lot was about half full and never really had to fish around anybody.  The weekends on the other hand are busy, very busy.  Overall this trip was an A+.

Tight lines until next time, hopefully tomorrow if I can sweet talk the wife ;)

Any pictures!!?! Some of us haven't seen a bass in quite a while!!! ;D

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
