Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Is this club still in existence?

D Money

same thing I was wondering....I submitted a request for a boater 3 days ago and not a single reply......I am looking for a boater with an open seat that would'nt mind a friendly guy that is willing to split expenses.

Big dreams

I think they use to meet at the Sanford Lake Bar and Grill one day a month but am not sure if that is still happening.  Also they put on a small tx on Wednesday nights that kinda petered out.  Would be fun.

I know one younger kid in the club and he says they are still active. This link is the best contact info on the web that I can find

The members who used to be more active on here in the past have had some life changes. Part of my website redesign I'm working on in my spare time is to make it easier (if possible) for things like club members to find each other and find club, tournament info.

Some of the 'young club people' spend more time now on the social sites, or get busy with life but they do pop their head back in here once in awhile. And then we pick up someone new too now and then. If I can tie it together better, maybe can get more of them to pop in here more often (or have GreatLakesBass.com pop out to them maybe?). There are ways to tie it all together better that I'm testing.

It's a lot easier to put one question on here asking for something than it is to post the same question on a bunch of places all over the social sites hoping it ends up in the right place to the right person. I also don't see many clubs with active, up-to-date websites. It's easier and more productive to post information in a central, active place visited by hundreds of like-minded persons (anglers) every day I think. I'll keep reminding them that.

After my redesign, I will give another push out to that active clubs about using the forum here to share their info with lots of anglers easily. Same thing for tournament information. It's harder than ever this year to find tournament information in just a few places. There's quite a bit on here but I do want to make it easy to find what you're looking for. The technology is around. Might as well use it. :)

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
