GreatLakesBass.com interviewed Indiana's Dave Watson right after day two of the 2011 Louisiana Delta Bassmaster Classic. Dave was the BASS Federation Nation Northern Division qualifier for this year.

I rode along with him the first day of the big event. Hear what he has to say about fishing his first Bassmaster Classic.

I'm determined (and cameraguy is a good video editor ). Plus, I had him trapped in a boat all day to work on him!!! We had a fun and interesting day including the 100 mile+ run, the impenetrable fog and spending 20 minutes listening to Skeet Reese try to get off that mud bar. VVVRROOOOMMmmm thbbbbbt... VVVRROOOOMMMmmm thbbbt... over and over.

Plus, Mercer is Canadian and still learning our language (sorry Dave )

We have a lot more stuff on the Classic. Apparently... We are just slow.

I did finally cut a CD to send to Fred Said for their family. Now I just have to remember to take it to the Post Office with me. Still owe Dave one more video too. He caught a bunch of bass and a redfish the day I was with him.

Funny story that I hope Dave Watson doesn't mind me telling, but when I called him up to introduce myself and tell him I was putting him as one of my first press ride choices, he said in his almost Southern drawl, "shoot, I was kinda hopin' no one would even notice I was there... so I could kinda fly in under everyone's radar..."
