Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

We should do a "spawnfest".  Fish 8am to 2pm and count up total caught...any size, any species.  BBQ after.  Everyone chips in $5, winner take all, every fish photographed (phone/digital camera).  Who would come if we did it on May 25? (the week after the DK)

Just trying to get the CAB folks out for an event.  If no takers, maybe Rick and I will just go fishing again.  LOL   ;D

May 25th is Memorial weekend, 2 weeks after the MadWags.

I can't the following weekend (May 18 - 19) - reserved for the annual Hardy Dam Pond trip one day or the other.

I might be able to fish Memorial weekend? Not sure how many other people can do that? I don't have my family plans lined up in concrete yet but others might. There seems to be lots of Memorial weekend tournaments anymore.

Like I said, pick a day and link it to the calendar. See what happens.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Tom, do you mean me Rick or another Rick?

I'd be glad to fish with you one day next week.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

YpsiBass

Think he meant me, but I hear fishing with Mr. Fike is quite the experience.

Revtro

Yeah, was talking about Ypsi because we fished together the other day for the opener.  But I like fishing with Fiker because we find free stuff on the bottom.  A couple of seasons ago, Fiker snagged a Loomis rod and Shimano reel if I recall.

Fiker, yeah we should definitely get out again.  It's been way too long man.  I miss hanging out with ya.

I'd still love to put a little something together on the 25th if we get more interest too.
