The Termites of the Amazon
Add New Note
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: They're everywhere! In the ground and in the trees! Termites and ants by the billions. All different colors, shapes and sizes beyond counting. This is a typical termite mound in a tree of the dark black variety. This one is the size of a small dog. Some of the size of large children and many are only the size of a football. But they really are everywhere and you can see hoards of ants trailing up and down the trees, and along the ground in endless, moving lines!
