Two Peacock Bass on the Woodchopper
Add New Note
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: Maybe because the water was high and the current was moving very fast in spots but we had more doubles on the woodchoppers too than before during the February - March 2012 fishing trip to the Amazon's Rio Negro in Brazil. Here's two Peacock Bass that crushed my ripping woodchopper simultaneously along a fast running sand edge! The guide Aligator kept telling me to quite messing around and get the bass in but 'the bass' would not cooperate so well and it turned out the reason was because it had two basspower running with a darker bass hooked underneath providing the power boost! One peacock bass is a challenge to get in. Two is maybe more than double the fun!
