Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

According to Roy Randolph's tournament calender, there is a tourny this Saturday, June 17, on Wixom Lake. It is listed as an open team event, hosted by the Sanford Lake Bass Club.

I was thinking about fishing it, but was wondering if anybody has a phone number for the tourny director. I want to find out if they still have room for more teams.
I also need to know if there is an off-limit period.

Also, is anybody here going to be there?

Does Sanford Lake Bass Club have a website?

Thanks for any help.
Peace.

I saw that too, no they don't have a website, you can e-mail them from the michigan BASS list of clubs but that takes too long to get a response. there is a phone # on the open list I would try that. I will look around and see if I have a # for them.

fowlmouth

the # on the open list is 989-689-6637 if you don't have any luck there try the Sanford Lake Marine at 989-689-6100 that club launches there every tues night and I am sure they have flyers there. The lady that owns it is a real sweetheart and I'm sure she would give you the info or fax the flyer to you, good luck.

Here is another option...call the Gander Mountain Store in Saginaw and ask for Brian Pfeiffer.  Fishing manager and Sanford Lake Bass Club member.

I'm one of the members of the sanford lake bass  club, and Brian's partner part of the time.  here is the scoop
The Sanford lake bass club holds two open tournaments each year, one on Sanford Lake, and one on Wixom Lake, this Saturday, June 17,
we will be having our annual Wixom Lake Open. The tournament blasts off from Albright Shores.
It is an open team tournament, 6 fish limit. $150 entry fee, guaranteed $1500 for first place. should have 30-35+ boats.
last year it took over 21# to win. and probably 13# to get in the money. You do not have to join the club.
You can pick up a flyer at the saginaw gander mountain, or the Sanford bait store or sanford lake marina, or just show up. blast off should be around 6 a.m.. so be at the ramp around 5:00.

I'll be in the black cobra.

The Sanford lake open will be on July 22. Launching from the county park.

let me know if you need anything else, and hopefully that's not my
email that is slow to respond.  I try to get back to everyone that emails me.
