It's Time to Break out the Brushes
« on: November 24, 2010, 11:32:53 AM »

So, it's nearly Winter, and that means it's time to break out the brushes and work on some new stuff.  Here's a few I did yesterday.  The first are 2 Poe's and a Rap DT-16 I did in a pattern loosely based on Bomber's discontinued Coppernose Bluegill/Bream.  The second are some rattlebaits I did in some sort of Golden 'Gil color.

I think it would be cool to get a bunch of guys together and paint some baits.  If beer is there, that's a bonus  ;D

Seriously though ... I have purchased a bunch of supplies, bodies, paints, etc. to learn and just can't get motivated to try on my own.  I would love to learn.

I have time off at the end of the year.  Maybe we can work something out.

Original song and lyrics by "MadWags"

What's with the news these days on the TV and the radio. Can't find the truth amongst the lies. Some talking head that claims to live their life in a better way, says I have to compromise. But now there's something on the rise. Truth has opened up my eyes. There's no running from your dirty lies. You can't avoid the truth. I'll no longer close my eyes.

I"m very interested as well.

I've purchased an air brush, and a compressor, but having never used the two together, I'm not sure what to do next.
