Well, here we go again, in the never ending saga of my life. Tomorrow at this time, I will be sliced open like the proverbial Christmas goose. I could use all the prayers/ good thoughts that you guys and gals are famous for. Hopefully, this time, my leg will get fixed for a long time and I can get on with enjoying life to its fullest. 5 years ago, when I had my first bypass, I said I would never go through that again, well, I guess I lied. They are taking a vein out of my left leg and replacing the artery in my right leg, AGAIN. Seems it wasnt done right the last time. Anyone willing and able, I could sure use some company. Probably not Monday, but I will be in the hospital for about a week. Even phone calls would be great. I will have my cell with me, 810-394-1820 for those of you who dont already have it. I will be at the CardioVascular Center at UofM. Its 1500 Medical Center Drive. I will be somewhere on the 4th floor. Thanks again for any support you give. This site has become a large part of my life in the last year. Everyone is awesome.

Hey Mike, my prayers and thoughts are with you, and look on the bright side of things, one is, you should be somewhat healed up by tournament fishing time (LOL). Have a quick recovery and read a lot of Bass magazines as you heal. Talk at ya later, GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Thoughts and prayers sent your way.
I pray that the medical staff will be at the top of their game so that you receive the best care possible.
I pray that your recovery will be swift and complete.

If there is a bright side, at least you're not missing any Bass fishing right now.  With a speedy recovery, and time for PT, you'll be back in business for the Spring opener.`

Good luck.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Well. I made it home ok from the hospital. I'm walking really good with a walker. Not ready to venture out on my own yet. Foot is just really numb. That seems to be improving. Looking forward to next weekend at Novi. Veronica and I will be there, just not sure which days, or for how long yet. Look forward to seeing as many of you as we can.

djkimmel

Good work Mike! Keep it up! You'll be flipping and pitching again in no time!

I stand like a Flamingo when I flip and pitch anyway. I'll show you the technique.
