I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I'm actually surprised there hasn't been more discussion about Asian carp reportedly found in Lake Erie several times? I would think they might do best in Lake Erie because the Maumee River might meet their spawning needs - one of the few rivers I'm aware that could according to one biologist I've spoke with.

I'm tied up at the moment with other chores, but I hope to have more time soon to talk to some people about these fish to provide more information.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Got Fish??

For several years I have been arguing that these Asian Carp, Have invaded our great lakes years ago. With numbers to low to measure. It is hard to confirm. Like the Emerald Ash boar. That had been here for years before it was discovered. It is going to be many years until the devastation is felt, and the government finally admits the blunder.

Well... the original blunder was people bringing these fish into the US and thinking they would never get away. We need to learn from the past if we ever want to stop making the same mistakes.

People in the US import way too many invasive species legally and illegally. I try to help by providing information to as many people as possible. I hope to improve the amount of information I can get to lots of people. And then I hope people let their elected reps know they want more done to stop the import of invasive species into our environment.
