About the MadWags Memorial Members Tournaments
« on: September 27, 2006, 12:26:35 AM »

David MadWags Wagensomer on his beloved Lake St. Clair during the May 2009 MadWags Memorial Members TournamentThese are really GreatLakesBass.com forum members' tournaments held as a low cost fun put-a-face-to-the-screenname kind of event. You must be a GreatLakesBass.com forum member to fish though exceptions can be made for families, sponsor-advertisers and special guests (please contact me ahead of the event). We've been holding boater/non-boater draw events so anglers get to know each other although we started allowing family, sponsor-advertiser and special guest teams this year too as long as everyone who wants to fish gets to fish.

Started with annual events in 2005 and 2006, we may hold a spring and fall event in 2007 to do east and west Michigan events since members are scattered around Michigan (and as far away as Boston Mass although I don't see holding an interstate event anytime soon - but I sure do appreciate the out-of-state members too!!!).

For now, check out the virtual champions' plaque at MadWags Memorial Members' Tournament and the MadWags Memorial home page.

As of the May 2011 event, the events have been permanently renamed to the MadWags Memorial Members Tournament in honor of the unexpected passing March 8, 2011 of our very popular member and friend David 'MadWags' Wagensomer, shown here during the May 2009 spring event on his favorite Lake St. Clair.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
