Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Well here's hoping for better weather this Saturday.  Right now it doesn't look all that bad with a little chance for some showers.  Maybe some that have been on LSC this year could share how it has been.

Count me in as a non boater!

GeeDavid

EKennedy

I'm good to go as a boater.  Have a wedding to attend in the afternoon...won't be able to be on the water too awfully late.  But I'm in!

bassassasin88

I can be a non boater if someone will have me.

fiker

I"m still planning of going and I too have to leave early, so it kinda makes sense for Eric and I to fish together.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

I'll be there as a boater unless it's pouring first thing in the AM.  I was out Saturday and it was kind of tough.  The bite seemed pretty steady for the first hour and a half, but then just plain died.  We tried to move out of the Mile Roads, but the wind kicked up to point where we were taking on water and decided it was time to go to Lake Breeze for breakfast.  Caught one about 3lbs and a couple of barely keepers.  Hopefully Saturday will be better.  The fish are not in full spawn yet.  There were a TON of boats on the mile roads.

I was down on the mile roads yesterday and we caught over 30...Not real big ones like I caught Saturday...I saw pictures and a report on BBC where a guy caught some hogs yesterday though...He must have worked a better area.  I never saw him...

Bender

99% sure I can make it as boater.

Sunrise is 6:20, want to meet there between 6 and 6:15?

There is a chance of thunderstorms, where is the closest safe place for shelter from the mile roads?

That time works for me chris, I am going out tomorrow afternoon to find em good. We are going on the river in the a.m. limit out go home and clean them. grab lunch then head out onto the lake. As for safe places you got metro beach you can duck in, there are also numerous canals and marinas to. I'll check the post again tomorrow nite while at sis's house to find out the solid meet time. gonna crash there since she lives right down the street from ballard. i'll fish with any boater that dont have a partner yet.

I would like to come if I find a ride down there. I don't know how much I'll get to fish with you guys but I'd like to try to again. Anyone coming from around the Lansing area or so let me know.

We had better keep an eye on the weather reports. Looks like it might be another nasty day. I'm not wanting to go out in thunderstorms and 30mph gusts.

I'm thinking the same thing...long drive for me and Rick.  Perhaps we can get a couple hours in a little closer to home.  Woodland, Kent, Belleville, etc...I'll check the consensus this evening...and repost.

Revtro

Guys, don't get me wrong, I really do want to fish in the AM.  But looking at the weather, I don't think I'm gonna bother.  They are calling for wind out of the S.E.  Yeah, like that's the worst kind.  The wave heights will be way more than they say if we end up with 15mph out of the South.  Last Saturday was a perfect example.  Plus rain and thunderstorms early = Tom staying home and making breakfast!

I guess we can always shoot for next weekend if anyone wants.

Rev, I just saw on fox news that they are calling for Gale force winds tommorrow with wave crests maybe hitting 10 ft on LSC....Good day to do honey doos....

EKennedy

No problem Rev...(and moto)...I have been thinking the same...Perhaps Rick and I will just drop over to your place for breakfast in the AM.  I like my coffee strong and my bacon a little crispy!   :D ;D  Gonna try to convince Fiker to hit a local inland and see what we can hit on.

I'd have to check the calendar at home but I might be able to do LSC NEXT saturday...Really want to get out there soon.

Let me know.  Cheers

Jay-MadWags

I think the wind is going to be an issue for you guys.
Just saw a report for 20 - 30 mph winds out of the SW.
Could be rough depending on where you go.

The weather this spring is terrible! At least when we have club events planned. I think I will hang out inland tomorrow, not worth risking injury out there on the big lake. Possibly try Kent or Belleville maybe.

If anyone has room for me on an inland I would be able to meet up with them somewhere. St. Clair is a little too far to drive just for a morning, but I can do most of the inland lakes. Leave me a PM if you have an open spot.

I think the guy on Fox news may have been smoking something when he was talking about 10fters....Has there ever been waves that high on LSC???

I tried to check the historical data, but I couldn't find anything....
