Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I'd like to thank Wonderland for once again hosting their spring event, and for hosting this site.
I know that the economy isn't great, and hosting something like that takes time, energy, and money.  I overheard a couple of guys talking about buying boats, so hopefully you could put the deals together.

Special thank you to Ralph for organizing the event.

I didn't get to see DK yesterday and learn about Mexico, but Marcel and Mark were both great.

Marcel it was nice to meet another fisherman that is as passionate about fishing as I am.  You explained some things that have confused me for awhile.  Thanks a lot. Hopefully we'll fish Kent together one of these days.

Thanks to all the vendors for coming out.

I hope that everybody involved got, or will get today as much out of it as I did.

For those of you who didn't go yesterday, quit reading this, and go.  If you can't go fishing, what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon?

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Thanks Fiker.  Sounds like you had a good time.  Just wanted to remind everyone that the show goes till 5pm today.  The vendors have some really great blowout deals as well.  For those that were doing honey-do's or fishing yesterday, hope to see you today.  Time to restock your box's.

Thanks Ralph and Wonderland for putting on the show.  And thanks again for letting me jump in and display some baits at the last minute.  There were a lot of new and old faces there, and a ton of great tackle.  I personally want to thank everyone who stopped by my booth, and, since this is the last show of the year, wish everyone a safe season (only 3 weeks to go!!!!).

There was a ton of cool stuff there I just wish I had a whole bunch more money to spend! It was nice being able to see in person all the stuff from the local vendors without having to drive too far. I was really impressed with the stuff from Crooked Creek, Next Level, and Nemesis baits (that new jig is going to be sweet no more super glue and from the looks of the head design it should skip up under pontoons with ease!!!). I should have allowed more time because I never made it to all of the booths I had to make it home for the game! how bout them spartans!!!! ;D oh and Ralph deserves a big pat on the back for getting that many awesome baits packed into one room!

Cheetam

Man, I totally forgot!  Thanks to all of the vendors who donated items for the hourly raffle!  I won a nice tackle pack with some baits from Case, Nemesis, Next Level, and Denny's Drop shop, as well as an Evinrude shirt from WMW.

Thanks Wonderland!

I cant even explain how huge it is for a small company like us to set up and display our products for free.  We sold more product at the Wonderland show than we did in 4 days at the Ultimate show in Novi.  The Upskirt Jig was a huge success.  I have blisters from tying up so many before and during the show.  lovin it.  Thanks to everyone who stopped by and chatted with us.

Oh, thanks to all the sponsors who donated products for the door prizes.  I was the first winner of the show.  I got me a new Shimano Clarus rod, some case plastics and beer coozy, and a Ranger t shirt.

Anyone who came by and verbally ordered stuff from me or chris, please drop us an email or PM.  My mind is a blur right now and theres a good chance i forgot about your order already.  A week with no sleep will do that to a guy.

Thanks again Ralph and Wonderland, the show waas friggin awesome.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.  I hope everyone else had a good time.  Our goal is to continue to build this show up for all the fisherman out there, as well as the tackle vendors.  I don't know if we can ever get to the size of the old Bassarama status, ( for you young guys, that was the BIG DEAL 20 years ago, were many young upstart companies showed there wares ) but we'll see.

Again thanks, and if I don't see you in the showroom, hope to see you on the water.
