I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Quick update since I could not attend the meeting:

the June 27 date at St. Jean is the same time as the NBAA Detroit open out of the same ramp.  I think it would be unwise to plan launching from there.

Hi Jack!  We really missed ya yesterday.  Wasn't the same without ya.  Maybe we should just change ramps then or pick an earlier date.  Ideas?

I think NBAA does not have their act together on the Det River open.  The guys on LSCN net think it is on the 20th.

NBAA does not have it at all that I could find on their web page.  They do have a double-barrel on the 27th out of Harley.

???  ???

I spoke with Jack from NBAA, and the Detroit Open is the 20th at St. Jeans.  It is going to be US waters only since Canada doesn't open until the 27th.

Great Job on the dates guys! I am on vacation for our 1rst outing on the 25th and my days off fall exactly on May 9th, August 1rst and September 12th since all our days off are pre-scheduled a year in advance by a letter system (A thru F) Don't ask sometimes I cant figure it out lol. Gonna check the vacation board for the other dates and let you all know 2morrow! Also all ready got approved for a vacation day for the DK Open on the 25th  ;D.

I think the DK open is the 15th, but I could be mistaken...

I mean the 16th

Yes, the DK is May 16, so our event 1 week prior will be a nice prefish for it.

Jack, thanks for clarifying the NBAA deal.  Looks like our schedule is ok as Tom originally posted!  This is going to be a great year!!!!

I'm glad we were finally able to get together and set the dates and lakes but I wish we could have had more discussion on it beforehand. As it is, most of the dates work for me but I still would have liked to have Kent or Cass on the schedule as an early season lake.

Only about 2 weeks before we can get out and catch some pike or crappie.  ;D  Still ice in the canal behind the St. Clair Shores library.

It was nice seeing everyone again and meeting the new guy. (Sorry I don't remember your name)

EKennedy

Mark...I'm really close to Kent...and would also like to "learn the lake" a bit better.  I'd be happy to meet you there on just about any non-event evening or morning till schools out.  Let me know...willing to learn.

Thanks

Bender

I like the schedule since I don't get out to Saint Clair enough.
If you guys ever want to hit Kent or any other Livingston county lakes let me know and we can head out there. Or check out the Tuesday night KLBA opens.

Hopefully some of you guys need a non-boater. I am pretty sure I can make all of them as long as I have a boat to fish in. Sorry I couldn't get to the meeting. School is rough at this time of the year. If any of you guys are close to me, it would be great to get a ride out there so send me a PM so I can give you my contact info.
