Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

ny interest in a Kent Lake Open this saturday?

Oddly enough, i have gotten 3 phone calls in the past 2 days asking me to do one.

So even though its short notice i thought i would post to see if any of you guys would be interested?

If we get enough boats i have no problem running it.

Im thinking fish 7 am to 3 pm and do a $40 team entry fee with an optional $10 big bass pot.

5 fish limit

And of course 100% payback.

nope hate that lake.

how about the same deal on Cass sometime in  Oct.  fish till 8-2 then head to Otools for dinner.

maybe even call it the " Outlaw DK OPEN East ".  we could even invite Dan.

McCarter

I would be down for that, too.  Pick a date and we will do it.

By the way, whos Dan?

If I can come up with a partner I would give it serious consideration. Besides MSU isn't on till 8pm ;D
Kent Lake, that is

McCarter

ok, i got 4 to 5 boats that are in right now and possibly up to 6 if big duarnd dan can find a partner.

Now by following the old tournament formula of pie divided by the radius of the sun and multiplied by the number of anglers saying they will fish, that means we are looking at a 2.839 team backout the morning of the tournament. I guess we can just go with it and see what happens.  if we show up and have 4 boats, so be it.  we will either fun fish or throw the money in and pay out one spot.

Ok, we are doing it.

Kent Lake East Launch

7 am - 3 pm

$40 team

$10 optional big bass

100% payback

5 fish limit

Be there in time to pay and get your boat in the water.  We will blast off promptly at 7 am.

I already agreed to do some work for my Dad on Saturday.
Otherwise......
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Looks like, at this point I'll be a no show. Haven't been able to find anyone staying around town this weekend to partner up with. On a positve note, my wife has offered to let me paint the porch if I'm not fishing ;D

Durand Dan

Sounds like I got lucky. I'm not sure how lucky that makes Chris ;D See you in the morning

Got BFL Saturday. Anyway, if you double the hours from 4 to 8, why not double the entry? Think about October 4 for the next one. I can fish that day. Good luck everybody!  8)

Eric,
Good luck!! How did they ever schedule a Detroit River tourny on LAbor Day? Should be interesting ;D

dartag
