Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Guys:

We are registered as a club to fish the MBI Sunday 9/21.  It is on LSC, and hould be a great time.  Prize is moswtly bragging rights, and picking the lake for next year.  WE can send up to 4 boaters and co-anglers in even numbers.  The fee is $125.00 for all of us in total.  I have paid this already, as the $$$ were Due  June 1.

Who is interested?  Boaters and Non Boaters?

Boaters - Jack, Tom, ?   ?
Non Boaters - ? ? ? ?

If there are more than 8, we'll have to have a rock scissors paper shootoff to determine I guess - lol.

Hey guys,  The schedule shows the MBI Club Championship on 9-20, a Saturday.  Which is it?  If it is on the 20th I would like to give it a go as a non boater.

Thanks!

latest update - the MBI folks are keeping the offlimits from tuesday9/16 thru 9/20 prior to the tourney on the 21st.  I spoke with Tom, and he and I are not keen on not fishing that week - there are tourneys Sat, as well as practice durin the week.  Not exactly worth it to me, as the season is rapidly closing, and I want to get in as many days ont he water as I can.   Does anyone want to fish it?  Cost is $125 for 2 guys, as well as 8 guys, so let me know ASAP, as I would like to get our $$$$ back if we are not going to participate.

thanx

Wow if that means i can't go out @ all that week i'm out. Am going to be on vacation that week and i am with you jack the season is winding down and i wanna get as much time as i can out there before the mail volume kicks up and i'm going to work in the dark and coming home when its dark.

Yeah, if it means not fishing that week, count me out.  It's kind of ridiculous to have an off limits period for a bragging rights tourney IMO.  Maybe next year if it's not on our home body of water, I won't mind.

I spoke to Derrick, and he is considering removing the offlimits period.  I told him we would fish if it was open to prefishing all week - I'll keep you posted.
