Smallmouth bass eat everything they can catch. Even big gizzard shad sometimes... ever taste a gizzard shad??

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I bet you could even catch a Perch on my lake with them.  Maybe in week or so you should bring some out.

I remember a buddy that fished out here before CIR.  He would keep Perch in the livewell in case the DNR checked him.

My point is... gizzard shad don't taste very good.

I bet even TheFishinPollock wouldn't take a bet to chew and swallow one of those?!? I remember some 'mountain-man' type telling a group of us how he tried to fry up some gizzard shad. His 'mountain-woman' kicked him out of the house, but then she later left because that SMELL was never going to leave!!
