Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Need to find a source of tube jigheads with the wire weedguard, 1 or 2 strands. Thanks in advance ???

Zorro baits is the only company that ive seen with a tube head with weedless heads. And im not sure thats how you spell it?? I do have this: Why do want a weedless head on a tube? If you have a certain prefence thats fine, but can I put some insight on this for you. A tube jig represents certain forage right? Mainly craws in my mind. Unless you get them hitting it on the fall, then its a dying baitfish. Craws live mainly in areas where you dont need a weedless head. Rock, gravel, and marl. Also in areas with weeds but think of this. We all hear about reaction strikes right? Thats why we throw moving baits(cranks, jerks, and spinnerbaits). So add the reaction deal in with that. I love my tubes to get HUNG in the weeds. Rip it out and look for that reaction strike. What your looking for is the Zorro deal 1 or 2 strand, wire weedgaurds. But your going to have to modify your tubes to get these heads in them which will make them not work to there max. Im not sure what your deal on the weedless is but im thinking it may be on snags??? If your fishing areas with rock llok for a 90 degree tube head the will make your bait less likely to hang up. A 60 degree makes your bait run a 45 degree angle in the water which makes all those little crevisis near the rock vulnerable for snags. A 90 degree makes it run flat and less likely to hang up. If you have any more questions, let me know on ANYTHING.-skeeterman- p.s www.stansloanzorrobaitco.com

Oldham lures makes a nice tube jig head with weed guard.  I use them occasionally, and have not seen anything else quite like them.  Oldham Lures is out of Texas I think.  If you cannot find them, send me a PM, and I will get you the address or number.  I find them at Dick's sporting goods.

Have you tried an internal glider weight. Texas rig with an offset hook and not only is it snagproof: You get a spiral fall like no other.

Was at BPS yesterday and they have their brand of weed-less tube jigs with a neat little tool that punches through the tube and pulls the weed guard out . Didn't say what brand hook it was though>

"Bite-me" makes some good weedless tube jig heads also.

How about weedless with a rattle???  I know Bass Pro has tube rattles that can be added but a weedless with a rattle would be neat.  Think I will try to make some this weekend since the weather is going to be a little nasty.   :o   That means a trip to Jann's for a new mold.........maybe.      ;)
