Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I've fished NBAA and reccomend trying it .Division 60 on thursday averages 30 boats or so , and has alot of nice people in it . So does 36 on tuesday , and 42 on LSC . 51 on wednesday is smaller , 10 to 12 boats , but still lots of nice guys . Try it , you'll like it                  Charles

I've fished it on Tuesdays on St. Clair for the past couple of years.  It's a fairly well run trail, but the payouts are not worth it considering the cost of gas in my opinion.  But it was a fairly fun trail to fish.  3 hours makes for an exciting tournament because every second counts.  They start averaging about 30 boats, but about a quarter way into the season, it drops dramatically when teams that don't see themselves qualifying for the championship drop out.  I'm not completely sure, but I think the field dropped to around 20 or so boats.  There are a couple of teams that generally win most of the money, most of the time.  The guys were all pretty nice.

the cost of gas is a big factor,,,  i only fish inland lake tournaments, so the only gas i use is towing my boat to the lake, i use very little gas in my boat for in inland lake tournament....  the tournaments are well run, and you will meet some nice people out there.  i recommend trying some inland lake tournaments.  you can fish just about any lakes you want to fish, you don't have to show up every week, you can pick and choose if you want.  there are trails on mon, tue, wed, thur nights,, plus weekends too.  you will see me out there fishing mon-thur this year.. good luck, derrek
