Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I was finally in D&R yesterday for the first time in a couple months.  I stopped Randy and asked him about the E-21 rods.  He told me they should be getting them anytime.  The ship date from E-21 was 3/1.  He also told me that Boyd Duckett, Rick Clunn, Al Linder, KVD and others will be at his spring event.  He should have a seminar schedule out soon.  BTW, the D&R spring event will be 3/21 & 3/22.  I asked him about KVD being there, I promised my 4 yr old boy that I would take him there to meet KVD.

Hey... I think we were there at the same time... around 11:00 or so... maybe a little later than that?  I think I overheard someone telling Randy that his son had to meet KVD!  And was it you with the Cumara rod in your hand that I told was the best rod in the store?

I also asked him about the Carrot Stix... he told me the same thing... soon.

That was me!  I wish I would have known that was you, I would have introduced myself.  I didn't end up buying anything, but I like the look of the Berkley and Strike King swim baits.  I think prices might get better in couple weeks.

Yeah, shoot!  I'll be back down for the "events" in March for sure.

I bought ONE crankbait.  Randy put it in my hand.  Wanna guess which one?  Which color?  :D

I've been waiting for the Carrot Stix to show up myself.
My guess is that once they get there, they won't last long.
I'm really hoping they have the sensitivity and backbone they're talking about.
I need to flipping sticks.

I also like the Cumara, looking at the bass pro catalog, I never seen a 7 foot plus heavy in a flippin rod... just the swimbait rod.

Race ya there.
