I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

When I went to the Novi fishing expo last month one of the booths was selling megabass lures.I was not even thinking about buying one,but before I knew what hit me I put down $30 for this fancy dandy topwater !! Anyway lately I have been checking out e-bay and there are lures going for anywhere from $20 to $70 bucks!!! Has any one ever fished with them? Can they be any better than a lucky craft? Or is it like the package says"Pros secret lures"......Help before I go broke!!

I have fished those lures and really there is no difference from luckycraft. I really think the colors and the movement are good but i would rather have 2 luckycrafts then one megabass, But they are good lures and they do catch fish so if 30 dollars will get you a 3-5 pounder, in my book that is pretty good. that is just me!! So good luck with them i am sure you will catch fish.
Your either getting better or worse you never just stay the same

2 seasons ago, I payed $24 for a Jackall Mask jerkbait .  I had to order it from Japan.  I havent thrown it yet.  I am too afraid a pike will grab it and break me off.  Money well spent ;)

If your searching e-bay with the word "lures", your seeing alot of old collectable lures. Depending on the lure quality, maker, and age, some of that older stuff can go for thousands of dollars. Heddon, Creek chub, South bend, C.A. Clarks and the likes can be worth alot of money.

I got heavy into collecting a few years back, but trying to fish and collect was way too expensive. I still dabble in collecting but not like I used to. I sold a ( as in 1) lure in its original box for $375.

Just a thought on what you might be seeing

Speaking of expensive lures, has anyone found a US supplier of Zip Baits from Japan?? This is NOT the cheezy Zip Lure I'm speaking of.? Zip baits are similar to Lucky Craft, but have a few unique colors and bait styles.? A buddy of mine bought one a couple of years ago for $17, then promptly broke it off the second time he fished with it. (money well spent? :P)? He's looking for a US supplier of them.?

A US supplier may be tough.  I know places like Ichiban tackle carry Zip lures (sometimes they have some in stock, sometimes they don't), and I believe you pay in American funds.
