The poorly written, damaging to Michigan Sport Fishing commercial fishing bills have been introduced again. State House Bills 5801 and 5802, introduced by Rep. Dave Prestin and Rep. Jason Morgan, have been assigned to the House Committee on Natural Resources and Tourism.

This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

SPORTING EXPO
EverGreen Ministries is hosting the annual Sporting Expo on Friday, March 10 beginning at 6:30 pm (doors open at 6:00 pm). There will be a number of seminars including deer hunting, food plots, turkey calling, bass fishing and drop shotting, walleye fishing, grilling and smoking wild game, beekeeping, taxidermy field prep, starting a sportsperson's club, Michigan gun laws, and more!  We'll also have new and returning vendors, door prizes, and snacks. And, as always, this outreach event is completely free so invite your friends and neighbors!

Sorry I missed this Dan.  Where did they have it?  I live on 48th ave!  (well on the corner of 48th and Bauer... close enough)
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!
