Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

Hey everyone!

Tonight at 7pm central its Mark Goines Hooked on Fishing Live!  Mark will be playing a show live along with a live fishing chat room where everyone can chat about fishing or what ever is on their mind. 

Tonight Mark Goines will be fishing with the mad hatter behind Southern Outdoors - Longshank Spinnerbait -Scott Smith.  He will also be Mark's special guest ton tonight's live show.  Come join us and have a great time in the chat room!  This show is going to be a great show that you do not want to miss!

Make sure to tune in tonight for a major announcement about this weekend.  Its an announcement that you will not want to miss.  A little surprise for our members and users! :-D

Also tonight we will be giving away free fishing gear at the end of the show stop make sure you are there.  You have to be in the chat room to be eligible for the drawing.

LOL!  No just a diverse group of fishing friends.  It is a good time.  There were Tech problems tonight but it was still a good time without video.  Stop by and check it out next tuesday.
