I don't know how old they are, they came from a Michigan out of doors mag one is called "Backwater Bass Bounty"(Fall is Michigans best season to go after lunker largemouths.) and the other "Big City Bassing" The reason I don't know how old they are is I had cut the stories out of the mag and don't know when the mag came out.

Oldies, but... well, just oldies. I remember them because I was pretty excited at the time to sell them. I have copies of the magazines upstairs in my 'archives' somewhere (also known as the kitty playground by Max and Eli the cats). I think they were printed in about 1992.

Thanks for reminding me about them.

I read Backwater Bass Bounty, pretty good article, just an idea but maybe some of the guys on here wouldn't mind reading some of your old articles if it's no trouble to you.Like I said if you don't mind or if your allowed.

I've posted a few of the not quite so old articles on my Articles page, but didn't go back very far, mostly due to time and thinking my writing was shakier back then on some of those articles.

I've lost the original text to some of those articles. Sometimes the editors changed my writing in ways that I didn't like so I would use the unedited version. I probably don't have the original text to those articles, but the newer scan software makes OCR much more accurate and faster to convert now.

I can look for the magazines and see if they are formatted so they can scan quickly. I can reprint most articles sold to state level magazines after they are out in print. I usually would wait 60 days. Larger magazines usually buy first print rights and/or they want rights for a year. Bassmaster buys all rights - not real common, but the only thing I've sold to them was a short news article anyway.

I guess I don't even know what's on my own web site. I do have the fall bass article in my articles section under Fall Backwater Bass.
