Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Any of you guys know where I can look at the rod holder that is on the back of the ultimate match fishing boat...I'm talking about the white one they have on the back deck?

Ok here you go. BASSPRO 2008 Fishing Master Catalog page 134 top left side. It is the
"Fentress" Tote'em Rack
Just pop in your favorite combos and you're good to go-no more tangled messes! Durable polyethylene unit has a handle for quick, easy transport. Or, use the mounting hardware(included) for a great-looking rod rack. Hold up to 4 combos.
Color: White
$31.99 each
Item# 21-350-475-00.
$7.95 flat rate shipping.
The description above is word for word and there are no measurements. I hope that helps.
Kim wants me to put one on our boat for her rods to be close to her.

I also want to know where to get one of those rod holders like on UMF.  That one from Bass Pro is not the same thing.  I do have a contact at UMF/Outdoorchannel *(I've been bugging them about a DVD of last season for months now!!).  I'll shoot him an email about the rod holder!

By the way, you can get a DVD of all of last season on a 2 DVD set for 59.95.

If you want to order one or have questions shoot an email to

yeah that one at bass pro isn't the same.  i tried to see the name on it on the last show and they never showed it close enough

OK, I sent an email to Jeff at The Outdoorchannel.  He is forwarding my question about the rod holder on to the UMF show producer Jim Kramer.  I'm told he is very good about answering questions from fans so I hope to have some information soon.

Hopefully it's not $100 or something outrageous.

OK, I found them with the help of some really nice people.  Here's the link:

Now to make the decision... pull the trigger or make my own??

Holy Cow..... $94.94 and it only hold 5 poles. WOW! I'll stick with the one I found at basspro. Some people have more money than others. I'll take the less expensive one till I win a couple of the FLW or BASSMaster tournaments. HA HA.
I thought that the one I found was the same as the UMF one until I saw it on the TVO yesterday. Sorry about that. After checking out the price, well, we'll see what Kimmie wants.

Juse did some measuring out in the garage.  It won't work on my boat... simply takes up too much space.

Back to the drawing board for me.
