Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I'm not trying to rush winter. I'm sure some semblance of winter is on the way. That means we are approaching the 2026 Ultimate Sport Show Tour - the three biggest fishing and outdoor sport shows in Michigan!

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

The lure is new by Rapala and is supposed to be  a walk the dog like lure for 0 to 2 foot depths. Anybody tried it and where can you buy it besides BPS?????

Durand Dan

I saw that on the Rapala web site. It looked like an underwater Sammy in the video they had. I would image all the big box stores will have them showing up pretty soon with their spring Rapala shipments.

Definitely looks pretty sweet.  The rapala line up is getting huge.  Lots of new Rapalas this year.  I am running out of room in my rapala box. ;D

I am going to purchase a couple of colors, however, I don't get carried away on new lures anymore when I have so many in my tackle box that already work.  I have thrown away too much $$$$$ on stuff that is collecting dust.  I was at Sportsmans Warehouse in Allen Park yesterday afternoon and I noticed that the Rapala Husky Jerk is back.  I was under the impression that they were discontinuing that bait.  Now that in certain colors has always consistantly put fish in the boat for me over the years.  I am glad to see that Rapala is not abandoning that bait.

I saw that lure being used this morning on Al Lindners Angling Edge. Sweet lure with great action, I will be getting a couple of those along with their Skitter Walks for this season.

On another stations I saw Al using a new version in the DT series.

Kind of a fat wide wobbler.  That one reminded me in terms of applications of the Baby 1-minus.  Only thing it had was the DT profile though.

I haven't tried the sub x-raps, but have had good success with the first ones they came out with.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
