Trying to find out where ramps are on the south end of lake michigan.

TCook

TR, we would use the marina on the calumet river in portage. It is off of 94 on the portage exit, take crisman(249) toward the lake to marine court take a left and you are in the marina. Follow the road in the marina until it ends where the ramp is. Once you launch take a right on the river and that will take you out to lake michigan(about a 10 min idle). I am not sure if they would close the ramp down this time of year?

Thanks Tim. I believe you told me the ramp is $7. Is that the only ramp you know of?

Duke

Bob, I've been meaning to fish this for the past 3 years and have yet to make it out. I thought there was a launch in Michigan City?? Maybe not.

Bob, I believe it was $7-10 cant remember, but I wonder if there would be anyone there taking the launch fee? Also dont know of any other launches in the area, have not looked into it.

I know there is a ramp also in Michigan City, that's where Skeeterman190 fishes out of.  Hey Tim, give me a call, got the boat back finally and want to wet a line before the season ends.  Let me know what you think.
