Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Hi all,

It's been a while since I have posted on the site so please let me bring you up to speed on some new things going on.  About 8 weeks ago I was let go from my company that in turn has brought some interesting opportunities for me.

One of those opportunities is the chance to meet with the team(Gary Clouse, Hank Baker, Teresa Johnson and Greg Strahm) starting up the new Phoenix Bass Boat company and it led to an opportunity to be the Midwest Rep.  Now I represent Phoenix in seven states (Mi, Oh, Ind, Ill, Iowa, Wisc, Minn).  It has been a very busy position traveling to different dealers mainly in Ohio at this time.  I am still working to establish dealers in the other states.

I took the Bee Line series for a ride Saturday and it is one fast boat.  The 2100 Pro Vee with 250 Pro XS ran 77mph (gps) with two of us and a half tank of gas.  The 286 (18'9") ran 60+ with Merc 150 efi. Production will be limited the first year and I expect demand to be high.  And the best thing about this rig will the the cost savings to your the pocket book.  Finally we have a quality bass boat that anglers will not have to mortgage their homes for.

If any of you have any questions or would like to see what one looks like please contact me.

Also many of you heard about my dad and the severe stroke he had in March leaving him with limited use of his right side.  Well I am happy to say he is now strong enough to walk on his own for a limited distance using his special walker cane.  A couple Fridays ago he walked into the bowling alley on his own.  He keeps working hard to get better and  my hope is we are fishing together come next Spring.  Tomorrow my family will spend Thanksgiving at my folks house and when I sit at the dinner table across from my folks, sister and husband, my wife and all the kids, it will be easy to know where my blessings come from in my life.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Hey George...great news about your dad!   And I'm sorry to hear about your job, but it sounds like a new door has opened for you.  I was going to send you a PM to ask you about the new Phoenix avatar you're using, but, now I don't have to  :D  I can't wait to see the all new models Phoenix will be launching next year.  it looks like they have put together a good team.  One thing you touched on that I think gets lost at times:  we all have a lot to be thankful for if we just take the time and count our blessings.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Jeff
