Wow, and I thought I didn't like pike.

They are poisoning a like in CA just to kill the pike: http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-pike23sep23,0,1465879.story?coll=la-home-center

On my "home" lake I get more pike than bass, but what can you do. It's part of nature.

Those western states are at war with pike - pretty much all illegal plantings. I imagine the pike are having a field day in new waters eating all their stocked trout and minnows.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
