I have been out 7 times and still have not had any strikes.
This is the bait I have used so far.
I have watched videos and tried to focus on the advice that seems to be common among most people posting on youtube.

How are you rigging it? Where and how are you fishing it?

That should work especially Texas-rigged around weedlines and in holes in the weeds.

You do not have to be an advanced bass angler to use plastic worms. They are a great choice for any bass angler.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Soft plastic are great baits for any angler, but you do have to learn different rigging techniques to get the most out of them.  If you haven't fished with soft plastics much, I suggest going fishing with someone who is experienced with them as it will speed up the learning curve.

I have been using a texas rig, like I said I watched a lot of youtube videos, and have tried the most popular action techniques, I have tried to cast into the right features, like logs and shaded areas.
I have used zoom and other name brand bait, used the worms that the sales staff at field and stream, bass pro shops and a local bait shop, none of the advice has worked.
Should I start to believe in curses LOL?

Maybe... have you crossed gypsy or a witch lately?

Or just stick to it. Once you start getting them it will change a lot for you. Are you fishing places you know have held bass before? You have to throw any lure where there are bass before you can catch them.

Weeds are always a likely possibility and what a Texas-rigged plastic worm was made for, I think!
